interesting... i think there are two other things to improve the value of hashtags but not sure about the efficiency... or even if increasing the efficiency might even decrease the usage and effectiveness of the tags. getting efficiency might crowd out the more natural community co-creation of some tags? Probably ways to work around this but i'm not there yet.
